cassoulet

you will need:

chicken stock

1/2 lb. small dried navy beans

4 cloves garlic, crushed

1 medium onion chopped

2 carrots chopped

2 cups chopped tomatoes with juice (canned work)

1/2 tsp. dried thyme

2 bay leaves

1/4 lb. bacon

4 links of italian sausage

1 lb. boneless pork shoulder

2 duck or chicken legs

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves

weed extract

cooking time approximately four hours

1.  combine the beans, crushed garlic, onions, carrots, tomatoes, thyme, bay leaves, and bacon in a slow cooker.  add stock to cover by 2 inches, set heat to high.

2. brown sausage, pork, and duck legs in a skillet one at a time.

add to simmering beans.

3. when they beans become tender, salt and pepper to taste, along with minced garlic.  garnish with parsley and serve
